Visionary technology executive Zulkernyne Ibne Tahasin currently serves as Technology Director for 5G Digital Transformation in Japan. He is a true believer in innovative technology’s role in bringing a positive impact on every aspect of humankind.
Zulkernyne studied Electronics and Communication Engineering in Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET), Bangladesh. He has more than a decade of experience leading the design, development, and deployment of enterprise software, hardware, and service solutions for telecommunication industry across the globe. To date, Zulkernyne has built a successful career as Technology Consultant and Business Development Leader focused on leveraging data analytics, service innovation, and workforce development to deploy next generation wired and wireless networks, bring innovative products and technology to market, drive digital transformation, and generate sustainable revenue growth.
Zulkernyne is a frequent speaker at industry events and has published articles on a variety of topics related to 5G and 6G technologies, Digital Transformation, the vital significance of telecom development in rural areas of the USA, and the pivotal role of apprenticeship programs in the ever-evolving technological landscape. He holds a deep passion for fostering workforce development through apprenticeship programs. His commitment to this cause culminated in the recent publication of his book, "Reinventing Apprenticeships: A Guide to Building a Modern Workforce," which has garnered attention and acclaim for its innovative approach to shaping the future of the workforce.
Additionally, Zulkernyne actively participates in esteemed organizations, holding the status of a senior member in the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and engaging with the Internet Society, Project Management Institute (PMI), and the International Telecom Society.
